Participation terms
Terms of Use
Last Updated: 20th August 2026
These Terms govern participation in and use of the MultistreamsHub Global Buyers & Importers Network operated by 21ST STRATEGIES ("MultistreamsHub", "Multiple Streams", "we", "us" or "our").
By submitting an application, creating a profile, submitting a buying requirement or using the network, you agree to these Terms.
1. Purpose of the Network
MultistreamsHub provides a business networking and trade-facilitation platform designed to help international buyers, importers, suppliers and other legitimate businesses identify potential trading partners and opportunities involving African agricultural commodities, food products and other approved products.
The platform may provide buyer and supplier registration, business verification, product and commodity profiles, RFQs, buyer and supplier matching, controlled introductions, trade-opportunity notifications, sourcing assistance, and related business-support services. Availability of individual services may change as the platform develops.
2. Eligibility
You may use the business network only if you are legally able to enter into business transactions and are acting on behalf of a legitimate business or in a legitimate commercial capacity accepted by MultistreamsHub.
You must provide accurate and current information. You must not impersonate another individual or organization or knowingly provide false business information.
3. Application and Approval
Submission of an application does not automatically guarantee approval, verification, publication, matching or introduction to another participant.
We may review, verify, request additional information, approve, reject, suspend or archive applications where reasonably necessary to protect the integrity of the network.
4. Verification
A "verified" designation means only that certain information has been reviewed according to the verification procedure applicable at that time.
Verification is not a financial guarantee, guarantee of product quality or payment, endorsement of a company, guarantee that a transaction will be successful, or substitute for independent commercial due diligence. Every participant remains responsible for conducting appropriate checks before entering into a transaction.
5. Buyer Requirements and RFQs
Buyers may submit purchasing requirements or Requests for Quotation. You are responsible for ensuring that information contained in an RFQ is accurate, including product, specification, quantity, packaging, destination, required certifications, purchasing timeline, payment expectations, Incoterms and other commercial requirements.
Submitting an RFQ does not create an obligation on MultistreamsHub to secure a supplier or conclude a transaction.
6. Supplier Offers
Suppliers are responsible for the accuracy of their company information, product specifications, production or supply capacity, certifications, prices, delivery terms, documentation and other commercial representations.
Suppliers must not knowingly offer products they do not have the legal right or reasonable capacity to supply.
7. Role of MultistreamsHub
Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, MultistreamsHub acts as a trade facilitator and network operator.
We may introduce parties and provide information or supporting services, but the buyer and supplier remain responsible for negotiating and entering their own commercial agreements. Any purchase agreement, payment obligation, shipping arrangement or product contract is between the relevant contracting parties unless MultistreamsHub is expressly named as a contracting party in a separate written agreement.
8. Independent Due Diligence
Participants should independently verify matters relevant to a proposed transaction, including corporate registration, authority of representatives, product quality, samples, inspection, certificates, export/import requirements, payment arrangements, destination-country requirements, insurance, logistics, sanctions and regulatory restrictions.
Do not rely solely on a website profile or platform badge when making significant commercial decisions.
9. Payments and Transactions
Do not send money to another participant solely because that participant appears within the MultistreamsHub network. Confirm payment instructions independently and use commercially appropriate payment and trade-risk procedures.
MultistreamsHub is not responsible for funds paid directly between independent buyers and suppliers unless a separate written service specifically provides otherwise.
10. Prohibited Conduct
You must not use the platform to commit fraud or deception; submit knowingly false information; impersonate another business; distribute malware; interfere with security; scrape participant contact information; send abusive or unsolicited communications; promote illegal products or transactions; evade sanctions, customs, export or import restrictions; misuse verification information; or attempt unauthorized access.
We may suspend or terminate access where we reasonably believe these rules have been violated.
11. Confidential and Commercial Information
Information obtained through a controlled introduction, verification process or non-public trade opportunity should be used only for legitimate business purposes. Participants must exercise reasonable care when handling commercially sensitive information received from another participant.
12. Fees and Premium Services
Some platform services may be free while others may later require registration fees, verification fees, subscriptions, premium listings, sourcing fees, trade-lead access fees, commissions or other clearly disclosed charges.
No participant will be charged for a paid platform service without the applicable fee or commercial arrangement being communicated. Separate terms may apply to particular paid services.
13. Availability of Services
Features may be added, changed or discontinued as the platform develops. This does not affect contractual rights already expressly granted under a separate paid agreement.
14. No Guarantee of Transaction
We do not guarantee that a buyer will receive suitable offers, a supplier will receive orders, a match will succeed, a transaction will close, payment will be made, products will meet specifications, or shipping and customs processes will succeed. Trade involves commercial risks that participants must independently evaluate.
15. Intellectual Property
The MultistreamsHub website, platform design, software, branding and original platform content remain protected by applicable intellectual-property rights. Business participants retain responsibility for and rights in information they submit, subject to the permissions reasonably necessary for MultistreamsHub to operate the network and provide requested services.
16. Suspension and Termination
We may restrict, suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary because of fraudulent or misleading information, misuse, security concerns, repeated complaints, legal or regulatory requirements, or material breach of these Terms. Where appropriate, participants may be given an opportunity to correct inaccurate information.
17. Privacy
Use of personal and business contact information is governed by the MultistreamsHub Privacy Policy.
18. Limitation of Responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, MultistreamsHub is not responsible for losses arising solely from independent commercial decisions, representations or contractual failures between buyers and suppliers. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
19. Changes to These Terms
These Terms may be updated as the network develops. The current version and effective date will be published on the website. Material changes affecting registered participants may be communicated where appropriate.
